Watershed Hydrology
Undergraduate course, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Department of Nature Resources and Environmental Science, 2025
This course focuses on understanding the processes of hydrology (e.g., physical hydrology, plant water use, and stress response), the societal applications of hydrology (e.g., irrigation, drought monitoring, water sustainability for ecosystems, life-cycle analysis of water and food), and the state-of-the-art methodology to study hydrology (e.g. satellite, numerical modeling).
Course Content:
Precipitation, Soil Moisture, Evapotranspiration, Runoff, Groundwater, Ecohydrology Methods, Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), Watershed Management, Climate Change.
